Spring is in the air. I can tell by the weather and the boys’ behavior. Crazy.
Every time I walk into the bedroom to see the boys, they seem to be up to something. They will freeze, look up at me, and then bolt for cover. Why?
I don’t get it. It’s not like I am walking into the bedroom like some elephant. Or bursting into the bedroom out of the middle of no where, in some sort of dramatic fashion. No.
Like tonight, when I walked into the bedroom, both Fred and Lamont, froze and gave me bug eyes. You know, where guinea pigs pop their eyes out and you can see the whites? Uh-huh. I got that as a greeting.
So, I stood there and looked back at them. After a brief show down, I asked, “What? What are you two up to?”
They bolted for cover. Nice way to greet your mother…
It’s got to be the time of year. Spring. Perhaps it’s all the pollen in the air that drives everything crazy. I mean both Fred and Lamont have bolted on me before. But this, is an ongoing theme in their behavior over the last two weeks.
How many months is spring? I may not survive… – KA
